This is a bolo knife I picked up in the Philippines for .00!! This is the greatest knife, I have been using it since the mid 1980's for camping and chores around the house. It's made from a leaf spring off of a truck abandoned from WW2. They were making these in a small blacksmith style shop in a village. This is an everyday carry tool for the locals when out in the jungle working. It's high carbon steel so will rust easily, so extra care must be made. Their hands are smaller so the handle is also, but it is still ok. If it had a lanyard hole I'd feel safer chopping with it so it does not fly out of my hand. I could put one in it but it would be where the heal of my hand sits. www.youtube.com
